Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2, Akhnoor had started working in 1986 for Classes I to V in a temporary building.

New building of the Vidyalaya is situated on Akhnoor Road, near Tanda Complex, Tanki No. 4. Vidyalaya is about 4 kilometers from Akhnoor Bus stand. It is two-section school
